No Excuses

If Kathleen, 59 yr old grandmother of 4, can get out and do Fight Gone Bad, so can all of you Ottawa lurkers! It doesn't matter how fit you are or aren't - everyone must take that first step to get on the road to elite fitness. Capital CrossFit Variance, Functional Exercise, and High Intensity - even for grandmothers.
Skill: Reverse Burpees and Skin the Cat. Practice up against a wall if you aren't comfortable with handstand take offs, and add a mat if you like. Scale down by finishing with a jump, instead of a handstand.
Strength: Back Squat 5 x 3 reps

Did you know some professional fitness and medical authorities have actually banned burpees? Somebody should tell these poor kids.
