No Grace Today!

Russ L. Cleaning dumbbells for the first time. All Russ needs in order to really grasp this technique is to allow his arms to hang like ropes and to consistently and fully extend the hips.

Observe Frame 2 in both the top and bottom reels. The arms engage prematurely but only slightly. We want to see those arms straight at this point and bending only a fraction of a second later when we pull ourselves under the weights. Russ is showing good hip extension which is the biggest hurdle in learning this movement. Figure out the arms and he will be a cleaning machine sooner than later.

(No I don't mean a washing machine though your wife may try and convince you otherwise! ;)
