Cleans
WOD: "Elizabeth". 21-15-9 of: Cleans/Ring dips. Men's benchmark weight 135 lbs, women 95 lb.
Break this workout up as necessary. Perform cleans at as high a skill level as you are currently able - eg hang cleans, cleans above the knee, or cleans from the floor. Try starting with squat cleans, and moving to power cleans as you fatigue. If Ring dips are beyond your current ability, do ring pushups, or regular pushups.
This workout should make you want to improve your cleans, as better technique will help immensely with this workout. Better technique means the load will feel easier, which will drive your time down. A clean is simply moving a load from the ground to the shoulder, an essential physical skill - you want to be smooth and powerful conducting this movement.
